Sean “Diddy” Combs has voluntarily withdrawn his latest appeal for bail, meaning he will remain in custody until his trial in May 2025. The decision was filed on Friday, December 13, 2024, and confirmed by court documents obtained by PEOPLE.
Combs, 55, has been held without bail since his arrest in September 2024 on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

His legal team had previously appealed the bail denial three times, but all requests were denied. The most recent denial came on November 27, 2024, when federal judge Arun Subramanian cited concerns about Combs being a danger to the community and the seriousness of the charges against him.
Prosecutors have alleged that Combs used his influence to abuse and blackmail multiple women over a 15-year period.

The indictment accuses him of being the ringleader of a criminal enterprise that allowed him to sexually, physically, emotionally, and verbally abuse his victims. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The trial is scheduled to begin on May 5, 2025. If convicted, Combs could face decades in prison. His legal team has stated that they are preparing a vigorous defense and remain confident in his innocence.
