During an interview with King Promise on Joy FM, media personality George Quaye revealed that Sarkodie had called him to express his confidence in King Promise’s talent and predict that he would soon become a major player in the Ghanaian music scene.
Quaye also shared how King Promise had been discovered and mentored by the rapper and had been introduced to other mainstream artists like Efya and Kill Beatz. As the president of the Arts and Tourism Writers Association of Ghana, Quaye’s insights into the music industry carry significant weight.
Furthermore, King Promise mentioned that he had caught sight of Sarkodie just a few meters away while spending time with producer Kuvie.
With determination, they approached him and introduced themselves, which eventually led to Sarkodie joining them in the studio.
Sarkodie was impressed by their talent and maintained communication with both of them. Eventually, he even introduced King Promise to influential individuals in the industry, such as Killbeatz and Efya.
The blossoming relationship made King Promise believe that he would be signed to Sarkcess Music. However, the situation took an unexpected twist.
