Kenyan entrepreneur and media personality Sarah Kabu, known for her dynamic business acumen and family-first philosophy, has announced her departure as chairperson of the Goat Wives Association—a position she has held with pride and dedication for over five years.
Sarah, who shares a blended family with her husband Simon, raising two children of their own and embracing Simon’s two children from previous relationships, opened up about her decision in a candid interview with KTN.

Her choice to step down reflects her belief in leadership renewal and the importance of creating space for new voices within the organization.

“I believe it’s healthy for any leadership role to have a limit,” Sarah remarked, drawing a parallel to presidential terms.
“After serving for over five years, I felt it was time to hand over the leadership to someone else. Even presidents step down after a term, and I wanted to allow someone new to bring fresh ideas and continue the association’s work.”
Her departure marks a shift for the Goat Wives Association, an organization that has grown in visibility and impact under her stewardship.
