Kofi Gabs, a Ghanaian socialite and Dutch citizen, has made headlines with his outspoken views on both the U.S. elections and Ghanaian politics.
Referencing the ongoing U.S. race, where reports from major media outlets suggested Kamala Harris had lost the election, Gabs stated, “Sankofa isn’t a bad thing… Americans didn’t vote for Kamala.”
He used this as a metaphor for political regression, arguing that looking back to past policies isn’t necessarily a bad move.
He then turned his attention to Ghana, urging Ghanaians to vote for former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming elections.

Gabs mocked Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitization policies, stating that they wouldn’t benefit the country.
“When John Mahama comes into power, he will bring back his good policies,” he asserted, positioning Mahama’s past leadership as a better option for the future of Ghana.
While Gabs’ comments stirred debate, they also shed light on the ongoing political discourse in Ghana, where supporters of Mahama and Bawumia continue to clash over what direction the country should take.
