The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Sam Nartey George has slammed Bryan Acheampong for threaten the National Democratic Congress(NDC).
After participating in a health walk called “Walk to Build A Better Ghana” with supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Saturday, April 8, 2023, in Mpreaso-Kwahu in the Eastern Region, Bryan Acheampong declared that the NPP will never cede power to the opposition NDC in 2024.
He said that the NPP will prove to the NDC that they have the “men” to carry out their threats and acts of violence during the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2024.
Bryan Acheampong stated that, “NDC party will collapse. If the NDC dares to use threats, violence, and foolishness in the 2024 election, we will let them know we have the men. We will show NDC that we have the men if they want to do intimidate, harass us or do anything foolish during the 2024 elections…. It will not happen that we will hand over power to NDC. We’l use any means for NPP to stay in power.”
In response, Sam George wrote on Facebook on April 9, 2023, saying, “My beloved NDC! We are worried of the rantings of scarecrows and hype simpletons into cult status. Bryan Acheampong and Joe Anokye on my mind. Can we go back to our old days? We are children of a REVOLUTION! Can we call these imposters out and dare them to try? People who did a 6 month Military Course now threaten the NDC? I mean how?! Let’s stop glorifying folks who don’t deserve our attention and focus on what we have to do. Let me go back to my Easter meditations. Shalom.”
