Ringtone, whose real name is Alex Apoko, is a popular Kenyan gospel artiste and a self-proclaimed celebrity.
According to the musician, he is not married and does not have children, but a woman claiming to be Ringtone Apoko’s wife stirred up controversy in entertainment in Kenya by calling him out for allegedly neglecting his children.
He enjoys sharing his life’s journey with anyone who will listen. Ringtone spoke up about his difficult upbringing and time spent living on the streets during an episode of the Bambika show. He said he had never met his parents and that his grandmother, who later passed away, raised him.

Since the musician has stated that he is neither married nor the parent of any children, their identities remain unknown.
Ringtone Apoko made it known he was single and in search of a wife by releasing a song about it. The artiste had a list of characteristics that the woman he was seeking needed to possess. The fact that he had previously expressed interest in the Tanzanian beauty made others suspicious.
He went about with a poster listing the characteristics he was seeking in a wife, which included being hardworking, humble, prayerful, and God-fearing. Apparently, the musician has not yet found a wife who possesses these characteristics.
In the year 2020, a woman named Angel Nyambura claimed that she was Ringtone’s baby mama. She stated that the gospel musician denied responsibility. Angel denied claims made by an unidentified person in Thika named Philip Mwaura that the baby was his. Mwaura claimed paternity for the child. Angel requests a DNA test to find out the truth.
