For her performance of “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” which was nominated for Best Original Song, Rihanna wore a custom-made Bottega Veneta outfit consisting of a siren green silk bustier and skirt with a shearling stole set and stiletto heels. She donned a spiked hairstyle with silver eye makeup, rosy blush, and vibrant red lipstick.
Rihanna walked the red carpet earlier in the evening in a black Alaia dress with a leather bustier and mesh embellishments that revealed her pregnancy. She wore her hair in a neat updo with dangling earrings and Giuseppe Zanotti heels as accessories.
The singer announced her pregnancy during her performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last month.
Rihanna’s fashion choices have always been adventurous and audacious. On the 2023 Oscar red carpet, she continued to uphold her status as a trailblazer. Even though she did not walk the red carpet this year, Rihanna made news with her unconventional fashion choices throughout the evening.
