Prophet Ebenezer Yiadom has issued a stern warning to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after the party’s return to power, reminding its national executives and foot soldiers of his role in their victory.
Known widely as Opambour, the controversial man of God emphasized that his fierce support for the party during the election campaign should not be undermined or disrespected by anyone within the party, including ministers or other leaders.
“Every Ghanaian will testify that I campaigned for the NDC. I did it even more than the party’s supporters,” Opambour asserted in a video shared on social media.
“I campaigned so fiercely, even fighting people on television. And now, by the grace of God, the party is in power. Therefore, no executive or foot soldier should disrespect me.”

Opambour, a prominent religious leader with a large following, has long been known for his vocal political stance, often aligning himself with the NDC’s agenda.
His passionate campaigning during the election season was marked by fiery speeches and public displays of support for the party, which he claims contributed significantly to their success.
“Look at where we are today,” Opambour continued. “The NDC is in power because of the efforts I put in. I fought hard for this, and it is by the grace of God that this victory is here. Therefore, I deserve the same respect that former President John Mahama showed me.”
He went on to stress that any attempt by party members to disrespect him would not be tolerated. “If any minister or leader tries to disrespect us, they will not like what will happen to them,” Opambour warned, his voice firm and resolute.
