Nana Agradaa has revealed the reason behind Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s loss in the 2024 presidential election.

According to Agradaa, the NPP flagbearer’s defeat was not just due to political factors but because he failed to follow her prophetic instructions.

Agradaa claimed that her prophecy, which advised Bawumia to wear a white outfit throughout the election period, was ignored—an action she believes contributed to the outcome.

As tensions rise over the election results, Agradaa’s revelations have sparked debates about the influence of prophecies on Ghana’s political landscape.

Here are the key takeaways from her statements:

1. “Take Prophecies Seriously”
Agradaa emphasized the importance of paying attention to prophecies, stating, “I always tell you all that when a prophecy comes, take it seriously.” According to her, the failure to heed prophetic guidance was a factor in Bawumia’s loss.

2. Bawumia Did Not Follow Her Instructions
The prophetess shared that she had specifically told Bawumia to wear a white outfit during the election period. She firmly believes that had he followed this instruction, the outcome might have been different. “He is the one who didn’t follow the instructions,” Agradaa said.

3. Bawumia’s Graceful Acceptance of Defeat Earned Respect
Despite the election loss, Agradaa praised Bawumia for his dignified acceptance of the results. “Bawumia is a great leader, and he has shown us great respect for this country,” she remarked. His prompt congratulatory message to John Dramani Mahama impressed her.

4. A Historic Moment in Ghana’s Politics
Agradaa highlighted the significance of Bawumia’s swift concession, calling it a historic moment for Ghana. “This has never happened in Ghana before, where not less than 24 hours after the election, the opponent will come out and accept defeat,” she pointed out. To her, it reflected Bawumia’s love for the country.

5. A Call for Future Prophecies to Be Taken Seriously
Looking ahead, Agradaa made a final point to political leaders: “Next time when a prophecy comes, they should listen and take it seriously.” She stressed that prophecies, when followed, can have a powerful impact on election outcomes.
