Rapper Lil Wayne In Trouble As His Chef Sues Him For Wrongful Dismissal

Lil Wayne has found himself in another trouble after his former personal chef sued him, alleging she was sacked without justification.

According to documents obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, December 20, Morghan Medlock is alleging among other things that Weezy fired her unfairly and in retaliation.

The problem, according to Medlock, arose on a Memorial Day trip she had with Wayne to Las Vegas, when she was forced to leave at the last minute after learning that her 10-year-old had suffered a head injury and was being treated in the hospital.

She boarded a different flight even though they had all boarded Wayne’s private jet to return to Los Angeles because he was supposedly smoking on it and seriously slowing down the flight.

Given that she had been working for the rapper for two years, Medlock thought that his staff would be understanding, but she appears to have been fired.

The documentation claims that following the incident, Wayne’s staff kept asking Medlock if she was quitting, and despite her repeated denials, Medlock experienced hostility when she attempted to return to work.

She eventually received formal notice that she was had been fired. According to the former chef, it is unlawful to terminate someone who missed work in order to care for their ill or injured child under California law. She demands a minimum of $500,000.

The lawsuit was filed in addition to the continuing assault claim Andrew Williams, Lil Wayne’s former aide, has against him. For allegedly hitting him in the jaw in June, Williams filed a lawsuit in August against Wayne, Young Money Entertainment, and a business named Signature Flight Support.

“The combination of a closed fist and the numerous rings and large jewelry on the hands of [Wayne] caused great harm to [Williams],” the court documents read.

Additional information to this report shared by Hiphopdox reveals Williams said he sought medical attention at a local urgent care following the punch, and that the only follow-up he received from Lil Wayne and Young Money was reportedly a letter demanding she returns a missing Bluetooth speaker and company backpack.
