Black Youngsta is in the process of resolving a long-standing legal issue, as a judge has recently dismissed his gun case in a Dallas court.

The rapper faced charges for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, originating from an arrest in 2020, but the case was dropped this week, according to documents acquired by TMZ.

His attorney, Carl A. Moore, stated that Youngsta is relieved to move on from this matter after nearly four years of legal proceedings.

Moore expressed that the prosecution made the right decision in dropping the charges, indicating that justice has been achieved.

Youngsta, who opted out of a pre-trial diversion program before the charges were ultimately dismissed, was arrested in October 2020 during a routine traffic stop while being a passenger in a vehicle where a firearm was discovered between his legs.

TMZ has also obtained footage of Youngsta interacting with the police, where he appeared to be in good spirits, even inquiring about the cost of the van used to transport him.

This incident marked Youngsta’s second gun-related arrest within two years; in September 2019, police reported finding a bag containing two semi-automatic pistols in his vehicle, along with prohibited ammunition in his possession.
