Sompa TV and radio personality Oheneni Adazoa has shared some unconventional advice with President John Dramani Mahama as he prepares to take office.
Speaking on her relationship-focused program, Oheneni outlined her vision for how the returning leader could secure long-term support for his party and win the hearts of Ghanaians.
“Ghanaians are looking for just two things from the next NDC government,” she began. “First, make food cheap and abundant.
“Set up farms to grow staple crops like yam, rice, and maize. If food is affordable, the people will love you forever.”
Oheneni emphasized that prioritizing agriculture over infrastructure could yield immediate results. “Forget about roads and big buildings for now.
“People care more about what they eat every day than seeing a new bridge,” she remarked.
She claimed the second demand was surprisingly lighthearted but reflective of the current digital age: “Give Ghanaians free data so we can have fun on social media.
“If you do that, you’ll become the most popular President of all time,” Oheneni suggested, laughing but clearly serious about the appeal of internet access.
Her suggestions didn’t stop there. Turning her focus to the cosmetic industry, she made a plea for affordable beauty products.
“Make sure cosmetic creams are cheap so women can look beautiful for their men to enjoy,” she added, eliciting mixed reactions from viewers.
