On-air personality, Mrs. Genevieve Abrefa aka Oheneni Adazoa shared insights into her personal life during an interview with Delay.

Oheneni recounted the ridicule she faced for moving from the UK to Ghana for a man she had never met before their marriage, which she is currently enjoying.

She described the unusual circumstances of how she met her husband, Mr Abrefa, and how she felt they were meant to be together.

Oheneni recognized for her role in resolving family and relationship conflicts, explained that while attempting to call her sister in Ghana, she accidentally connected with Mr. Abrefa.

After sharing the incident with a friend, she was encouraged to save the number and build a friendship with him upon her arrival in Ghana.

Ultimately, their connection blossomed into marriage, despite the criticism she received for leaving everything behind for someone she barely knew.

“I left the UK for Ghana to marry a man I had never met. After a year of being in Ghana we opened a shop where we sold hair and later added cosmetics.

People used to call me names. They called my shop the woman who left Abroad to come and marry in Techiman but I was not deterred. It was a trying moment in my life but I held on to my faith, ” she said.

“Times were trying but I held on. It got to a point I had only one brazzier,” she told Delay in an interview.
