Prophet Nigel Gaisie is suing Abdul Karim, also known as Nana Romeo, for defamation of character in the High Court of Justice in Amasaman. The lawsuit is about sexual allegations.
The pastor posted a lawsuit on Facebook on April 5, 2023, with a caption, “To All Whom It May Concern *Media Houses. *Abudul Karim(Nana Romeo,Stacy Amoateng)….N.B. No long talk this time, if you say or write, reproduce any silly or false stuff about me, I will test the law. Enough of the falsehoods against my person and ministry. .God Bless All Of Us**….. The wonderful friendship between the radio host and the pastor broke in June of 2020, when actress and comedian Afia Schwarzenegger speculated that Nigel Gaisie had an affair with Nana Romeo’s girlfriend.
In a recent interview with Stacy Amoateng, sighted by Tru News Report, Nana Romeo confirmed the rumours that Nigel Gaisie had an affair with his fiancée over three years ago. He detailed what happened. He recalled how he and Nigel Gaisie grew close after his interview with the preacher over the death of musician Ebony Reigns went viral and disclosed that the two had bonded because of the interview.
On Instagram, Nana Romeo posted a clip of his interview in which he explained why he felt compelled to speak up. “This is how Nigel Gaisie destroyed my relationship. I decided not to comment on this issue, but I finally had to when I sat with @stacyamoatenggh on RESTORATION.” he said.
