Prophet Kusi Appiah has stood firm in his belief that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is divinely chosen to lead the nation, despite the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 elections.
In a recent statement, the Prophet clarified his unwavering stance, emphasizing that his support for Bawumia transcends political affiliations and is rooted in a deep spiritual conviction.
In a heartfelt message, Kusi Appiah expressed his belief that Bawumia’s role in Ghana’s future was determined by a higher power.
“Bawumia is God’s chosen one,” he declared, adding that his endorsement of the Vice President has always been driven by divine guidance, not political loyalty.
“This isn’t about politics, it’s about fulfilling God’s purpose for our country.”
Despite the NPP’s electoral defeat, the Prophet refused to waver in his belief that Bawumia’s leadership was part of a greater divine plan.

“Even though the election didn’t go in the direction we hoped, my faith in God’s plan for Bawumia remains unshaken,” he stated. “I know that Bawumia was meant for this role.”
Kusi Appiah, known for his prophetic messages that often intersect with the political sphere, clarified that his role is simply to deliver the messages he receives from God.
“It is not for me to decide how things turn out in the political realm, but to remain obedient to the divine guidance I receive,” he explained.
“My purpose is to share what God shows me, and I truly believe that Bawumia is part of that divine plan.”
When questioned about the role of the NPP’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO), in the party’s loss, Kusi Appiah declined to comment on the political specifics, emphasizing that his focus is on delivering the prophetic messages entrusted to him.
“I am not here to comment on the internal workings of the party or the actions of individuals,” he said. “My calling is to deliver what I am shown, and that is what I continue to do.”
Prophet Kusi Appiah’s strong stance on Bawumia’s divine appointment has sparked conversation among his followers, with many supporters agreeing that his messages offer spiritual guidance during politically turbulent times.
Despite the election results, the Prophet’s conviction remains resolute: “God’s will is above all, and my support for Bawumia is grounded in faith, not politics.”
