Prophet Kumchacha Slams Mr. Beautiful for Rev. Owusu-Bempah Comments

In a heated reaction to recent comments made by actor Mr Beautiful, Prophet Kumchacha, the general overseer of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, has publicly criticized the actor for dragging the name of Rev. Owusu-Bempah into a discussion about Prophet Badu Kobi’s ministry.

The exchange comes after Mr. Beautiful, in an interview, made controversial statements alleging that Rev. Owusu-Bempah played a role in the “downfall” of Prophet Badu Kobi’s ministry.

“Mr. Beautiful, you didn’t do well by mentioning Rev. Owusu-Bempah during your interview. Why bring up his name now?” Prophet Kumchacha fired back during a public response.

“The issue between Rev. Owusu-Bempah and Badu Kobi happened six or seven years ago. What you said is useless and unnecessary. I don’t know if you’re trying to gain fame from this, but it’s not right.”

The comments, made by Mr. Beautiful during a recent appearance on a popular talk show, have sparked a wave of backlash, with many questioning his motives for reopening a matter that had seemingly settled years ago.

The actor, known for his outspoken nature, had alleged that Rev. Owusu-Bempah’s actions were a significant factor in the decline of Prophet Badu Kobi’s ministry, a topic that has been a source of public intrigue in Ghanaian religious circles for years.

However, Prophet Kumchacha, whose fiery and often blunt rhetoric is well-known in both religious and entertainment circles, didn’t hold back.

In his defence of Rev. Owusu-Bempah, he dismissed the accusations, labelling them as “unnecessary” and questioning the timing of such statements.

According to Kumchacha, revisiting an old dispute only serves to stir controversy rather than offer any meaningful insight into the current state of the ministry.

“The issue you’re bringing up is from many years ago. Why is it relevant now? Is this to stir trouble or get attention? The right thing to do is to focus on what can move us forward, not dwell on past issues,” Prophet Kumchacha remarked.
