The founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, known as Kumchacha has put on display his new wrist watch, which allegedly cost him £3000.
According to Kumchacha, who has announced his intention to contest the presidential race in 2024, the watch, which he acquired for £3000, can’t be seen anywhere. “This is the watch I am coming with in 2025 to become president. This watch I am wearing is my presidential watch… You can’t get this watch anywhere, and do you know the price? It £3000,” he said.
“This watch is £3000; you won’t see it anywhere. Do you understand… You see my shoe; this shoe, you won’t get it anywhere… God is good; I love God; and God has blessed me. Whether you like it or not, I am totally blessed.“
In an interview on UTV’s showbiz night in May 2023, Prophet Kumchacha said he would scrap Free SHS should he become president. In the discussion, he listed and explained some policies he intends to roll out to build the nation.
“Hopefully, should I be President, rent will be paid every month; it is absurd for persons to pay rent for 6 months and 2 years. Sickness and death are inevitable, so what happens when the unforeseen strikes? Hence, this will be reviewed.
“Free education will be cancelled. This is because every fund from the government goes into this project, which has hindered the progress of other developments; even the enlightened countries like the USA, Canada, and Germany, who have it all, still struggle with providing free education”.
