Prioritize Your Partner’s Happiness Instead of Checking Their Phone- Rita Eodchie

In a thought-provoking social media post, Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has urged women to shift their focus from suspicion to ensuring the happiness of their partners.

She stated, “Stop checking if your partner is cheating on you; rather, check if your partner is happy. A happy partner cannot cheat unless your partner is naturally a dog.”

Edochie’s advice encourages women to foster positive relationships built on joy and mutual satisfaction, rather than being preoccupied with doubts about fidelity.

Checking a partner’s phone can lead to trust issues and insecurity in a relationship. It’s often healthier to foster open communication instead of resorting to surveillance.

Trust is foundational; if there are concerns about fidelity or transparency, it’s better to address them directly through conversation.

Ultimately, each couple needs to determine their boundaries and expectations around privacy and trust. What do you think about it?

In December 1990, Rita Edochie married Tony Edochie, the younger brother of Pete Edochie; they have four children. She is the aunt of Yul Edochie.
