Nigerian socialite Very Dark Man has opened up about the mental and physical toll that his public life and constant online presence have had on him.

The social media personality, who is known for his outspoken nature and large following, took to his platform to express his frustrations over the lack of privacy and the stress that comes with being constantly in the spotlight.

“People problem wan kpai me on God, I don dey get eye problems from always being on the phone,” Very Dark Man shared in a candid post.

He went on to describe the emotional strain he has been under, revealing that the pressures of his life online have made it difficult for him to find peace. “I am stressed, I legit don’t even have a private life anymore… sad part is I have gone too deep into it that I can’t turn back,” he continued, laying bare the reality of being unable to retreat from the chaos that comes with being in the public eye.

The socialite’s vulnerability resonated with many of his followers, who expressed sympathy for his situation.

It’s not uncommon for people in the public eye to experience the pressure of maintaining a certain image while also grappling with the demands of fame, and Very Dark Man’s post brought attention to the toll it takes on one’s mental health.

Reflecting on the complexities of his relationships with others, he added, “And the crazy thing is for everyone I fight for I become enemy to the person I fight against… LOL.”

This statement highlighted the often contentious nature of his public persona, where standing up for one side can lead to alienation from the other. For many, this is an all-too-familiar feeling—fighting for what they believe in, only to lose friends or face backlash in the process.

However, despite the challenges, Very Dark Man’s resilience shone through. “We move (RATEL NEVER LOSES),” he declared, reaffirming his determination to keep going despite the setbacks. His closing words, drawing on his familiar slogan, reminded his followers that while the journey is tough, he’s not backing down.
