Pastor Love has extended a heartfelt apology to the people of Ghana and several notable pastors who were affected by his recent outburst, which included harsh criticisms directed at his former wife, Obaapa Christy.
He explained that his remarks were a result of significant stress and a lapse in judgment.
Pastor Love urged Ghanaians to find it in their hearts to forgive him, emphasizing that, despite his role as a pastor, he is just as susceptible to human frailties as anyone else.
“Everything I said about Obaapa Christy was driven by anger. I am only human, and I ask for forgiveness from Ghanaians and all the pastors I named, including Kyiri Abosom, and Adonteng Boateng who reside in the United States.
“I was under pressure and said things I shouldn’t have. I hope they can find it in their hearts to forgive me,” he said this during an interview on Peace FM.
Pastor Love publicly criticized the veteran gospel musician her following a recent interview in which she revealed the authorship of many of her songs.
He is especially outraged by Obaapa Christy’s implication that he is uneducated and therefore incapable of writing any music for her.
In her interview on Kingdom FM, Obaapa Christy refuted claims that Pastor Love contributed to her popular tracks, asserting that he lacks the literacy skills necessary for songwriting.
However, her former husband departed, hurling insults at her for her misguided remarks.
