Veteran media personality Nana Aba Anamoah has called out Mark Okraku-Mantey, questioning his suitability for the title “Honourable” due to his perceived lack of meaningful contributions to Ghana’s creative arts sector during his time in politics.
Okraku-Mantey, a prominent music producer and former Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, has long been associated with the entertainment industry.
However, many creatives have expressed disappointment over his tenure in government, feeling that their concerns were not adequately addressed.
During a discussion on UTV’s United Showbiz, Nana Aba did not mince words, asserting, “Mark does not deserve the term ‘Honourable.’ He has not done anything honourable since he got into the political arena as a creative person to address our concerns.”

Anamoah emphasized that Okraku-Mantey had been in a position of power with the potential to make substantial changes but failed to live up to expectations.
“He was given a position that would allow him to make the space he is complaining about better. What was his impact?” she asked, casting doubt on the former Deputy Minister’s ability to deliver on promises.
The seasoned broadcaster further expressed frustration with Okraku-Mantey’s public commentary on the entertainment industry, implying that he lacked the credibility to speak on issues he had not meaningfully addressed.
