Ghanaian comedian DKB has made a passionate appeal to President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC government to retain Bice Osei Kuffour, popularly known as Obour, as the Managing Director of Ghana Post.
In a social media post, DKB praised Obour’s leadership, crediting him for revitalizing Ghana Post, which many had considered a defunct institution.
“He’s one NPP folk I will never wish to leave. He single-handedly rebranded Ghana Post and brought it back into the light. Most people thought Ghana Post was dead, but well, new regime, new kings,” he wrote.
Obour, a former musician and ex-president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), was appointed MD of Ghana Post in 2021 by then-President Nana Akufo-Addo.

Under his leadership, the institution has undergone significant improvements, particularly in digitalization and efficiency.
Despite his achievements, some NDC members are reportedly advocating for his removal now that their party is in power.
However, DKB insists that Obour’s contributions should not be overlooked due to political affiliations.
He stressed that the former MUSIGA president has the potential to further enhance the government’s objectives and should be retained to continue his work.
