Gospel artist Christiana Love, widely known as Obaapa Christy, has captured the attention of social media users after a video of her singing Amerado’s popular song Abronoma went viral.
The video, shared by blogger AbatheGreat on Instagram, showed a buoyant Obaapa Christy dressed in white, singing with infectious joy.
The timing of the video has sparked mixed reactions, particularly because Obaapa Christy’s ex-husband, Pastor Love, is currently serving a jail sentence.
In the clip, Obaapa Christy enthusiastically sings, “The one who wants to come to my funeral, I will rather be at his funeral in my clothes. If you want to call me, add ‘ohemaa.’ Do you hear me? I feel like a butterfly, settling for my peace of mind.”
