Prominent businessman and flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has stated that he is the only candidate running for president of Ghana who is committed to creating new jobs if elected.
In an exclusive interview on Kessben TV on September 18, 2023, Kennedy criticised his rivals for failing to create jobs for the people during their seven years in power.
The Member of Parliament and flagbearer contestant has increased his outreach and campaigns to both NPP and NDC supporters after landing at the top of the ballot for super delegates and the upcoming election on November 4.
“Let us weigh all the candidates who have consistently campaigned on job creation and employment when they are voted for?… There is no consistent contestant than me who talks about job creation”, he claimed.
He claims that his knowledge of business gives him an advantage over his rivals in the race to create employment opportunities for young people. He went on to say that his research had shown that no candidate was being truthful about their plans to increase employment if they were elected.
Kennedy Agyapong urged the delegates to vote for him to lead the NPP and become the next President of Ghana because they care about the future and the youth. He promised that under his leadership, young people and the country would see an increase in employment opportunities and youth empowerment.
