Actor Prince David Osei shared his perspective on the political landscape of Ghana, emphasizing the need for informed decision-making in the upcoming elections.
In a post shared on X, Osei began by expressing a candid opinion about the prospects of former President John Mahama returning to power.
He stated, “Even if all the pastors were to pray and anoint Ex-President Mahama, he would not regain the presidency.”
This bold statement highlights Osei’s belief in the importance of political realities over spiritual interventions. He underscored the ongoing “propaganda tactics” being used against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly the accusations regarding illegal mining, commonly referred to as “galamsey.”

Osei pointed out that this issue is not exclusive to one political party, noting that it involves individuals from both the NPP and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), as well as various sectors of society, including politicians, pastors, and the public.
In a bid to emphasize the seriousness of these allegations, Osei asserted, “Some of us are not mere observers; our prayers are impactful.”
This statement reflects a sense of responsibility he feels towards his fellow citizens, urging them to recognize the complexity of the issues at hand rather than being swayed by partisan narratives.
The actor’s call to action was clear as he urged voters to consider the facts and make informed choices on December 7.
He implored Ghanaians to “Vote number 1 for Progress,” emphasizing that the future of the country is at stake and that each citizen’s vote carries weight in shaping that future.
