In a recent update regarding gospel musician Empress Gifty, her publicist has clarified the reason behind her absence from Nana Ama McBrown’s highly anticipated Onua Showtime show.
Contrary to public speculation about a rift between Empress Gifty and another prominent figure, the publicist emphasized that the two “Empresses” share a strong friendship.
The publicist explained, “I know there is a perception out there that the two Empresses are beefing, but that is not the case. They are the best of friends.” This statement came as a reassurance to fans who have been concerned about the supposed tension.
Empress Gifty had to prioritize her daughter’s health during the show, as she received an emergency call from her child’s school. “Empress Gifty had to stop everything she was doing to rush to her daughter’s school to take her to the hospital,” the publicist noted.
It was an unexpected situation that required her immediate attention, and had it not been for the emergency, she would have attended the show as planned.
The publicist also confirmed that Empress Gifty’s daughter is currently receiving treatment at the hospital, underscoring the seriousness of the situation.
