Nigerian singer Joe El Amadi has expressed his dissatisfaction with Burna Boy’s approach to his ongoing feud with Davido, believing that Burna Boy is playing the role of the antagonist.
Drawing parallels with Eedris Abdulkareem, Joe El suggested that Burna Boy’s behaviour resembles that of his older colleague and may lead to a similar outcome.
During an interview on the ‘Real Ish’ podcast, Joe El also described Davido as a loving guy.
In addition, he attacked Burna Boy for his divisive claim that no one helped him succeed in the business, highlighting the sacrifices made by some to bring Afrobeats to where it is today.
Joe El said; “Burna Boy is the younger version of how Eedris Abdulkareem used to operate before. This Davido and Burna Boy’s beef, I think Burna is taking it too far. Davido is a loving guy.”
To demonstrate the extent of Burna Boy’s ongoing feud with Davido, the African Giant recently used his Twitter platform to share a cryptic message. Fans interpreted this post as a veiled jab at his primary competitor, Davido.
In the post, Burna Boy hinted that someone, whose identity he did not reveal, falsely claimed to have given him an expensive chain.
He stated that he would address this issue of deceitfulness, but he wants to wait until he has received the money from a deal with Cokobar.
In addition to discussing the alleged fake chain, Burna Boy also mentioned that he will touch upon other related topics that may or may not be connected to the same individual.
Burna Boy wrote; “We go still visit that audio chain and many more o. No worry, make @Cokobar money expire first.”
In a separate post, he said; “U see me dey smile nor mean say I dey smile o. Eyin fans mi, Dey play.”
