Nigeria Election 2023: Injured Woman Vote Despite Thugs Attack In Legos

Nigerian woman who was assaulted with a bottle by political thugs at a polling station in the Surulere neighborhood of Lagos has become a symbol of bravery and resolve after returning to vote in the ongoing presidential election.

They assaulted everyone who dared challenge them, including the courageous lady who was knocked unconscious. The unidentified lady was reportedly assaulted by All Progressives Congress (APC) party supporters as she stood in line to cast her ballot. The damage to her face necessitated a quick trip to the emergency room.

Yet the woman, despite her wounds and the pain of the incident, was not going to be discouraged from casting her ballot. After receiving tremendous praise and encouragement from her fellow Nigerians, she went back to the voting place later that day to cast her vote.

The woman has received a lot of praise on social media from people who note that her tenacity and bravery in the face of abuse serve as an example for others. The attack on the woman is just one of several instances of violence and voter intimidation that have been recorded around Nigeria during the election, which is being keenly monitored both locally and abroad.

The world is waiting to see if voters’ bravery and determination, like that of the Surulere woman, will affect the outcome of the election.

As peace was restored, the woman came back to cast her ballot, and she was praised for doing so.
