Nigel Gaisie Reveals How Akufo-Addo’s Governance Has Affected His Church

The leader of the True Word Prophetic Fire Ministries, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has called the Akufo-Addo administration the worst in Ghana’s history, claiming that its policies have left citizens so poor that they can’t afford to pay for lorry fares to church.

The well-known prophet made this statement during an interview with UTV’s Abeiku Santana. He claims that there has been a decline in churchgoers and that, when he calls to find out why they haven’t shown up, some of them blame a lack of funds for cab fare.

When questioned about his decision not to offer prayers for the economic improvement of his church members, Prophet Gaisie stated that he diligently engages in passionate prayers. However, he expressed his belief that the nation would eventually decline due to the citizens’ unwillingness to hear hard truths.

Prophet Nigel Gaisie listed a few examples of lawlessness, including illegal mining, hooliganism by some New Patriotic Party fanatics, and other crimes that have gone unpunished, as some of the causes of Ghana’s collapse.

He went on to say that while Caucasians and people from advanced countries are not better people, their honesty is the one quality that has allowed them to advance while Ghana and Africa have been left behind.
