Nicki Minaj goes off on JAY-Z over Lil Wayne Super Bowl snub

Nicki Minaj has expressed her outrage regarding what she perceives as a slight directed at her former boss, Lil Wayne, by Jay Z, following the announcement that Kendrick Lamar will perform at the halftime show of Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans instead of Wayne.

Currently, Kendrick Lamar is set to take the stage during the halftime event at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

Many observers view this decision as a slight against Lil Wayne, a local icon, and some have pointed fingers at Jay Z, whose company Roc Nation serves as the NFL’s Live Music Entertainment Strategist.

Among those criticizing Jay Z is Nicki Minaj, who took to X on Monday (September 9) to voice her discontent through a series of posts.

“I love watching the whole industry play dumb time after time,” she began.

Then, in a message presumably directed at JAY, she wrote, “Go & enjoy your fkng money b4 it’s too late,” Nick wrote in one of the series of retaliatory posts shared on X.
