The National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by General Secretary Fiifi Fiavi Kwetey, has firmly rejected the recently declared parliamentary results by the Electoral Commission (EC).
According to the NDC, these results, which follow the re-collation exercise, are a violation of Ghana’s democratic principles and reflect a clear disregard for the will of the people.
Kwetey described the EC’s actions as illegal and manipulative, attributing them to a deepening crisis of impunity under Jean Mensah’s leadership.

“We cannot overlook the collusion between the EC, the police, and the military, which has undermined the credibility of the process,” Kwetey stated.
He further emphasized that the NDC, under the leadership of former President John Dramani Mahama, remains resolute in its commitment to defend Ghana’s democracy.
The NDC has also expressed disappointment with the National Peace Council and other bodies for their silence on these developments.
In a call to the international community, Kwetey urged attention to the actions of the EC, warning of the potential threat to Ghana’s peace and stability.
“We will not relent. The will of the people must prevail, and justice will be served,” he declared.
