As scheduled for today, the Electoral Commission (EC) has gone ahead with the re-collation of results for the nine outstanding disputed constituencies.
These results had been put on hold since December 7 following widespread violence that disrupted the completion of the process.
So far, the NPP has secured victory in seven of the constituencies declared, showing a strong lead as the EC continues its process.
Here’s a breakdown of the constituencies where the results have been confirmed:
1. Techiman South Constituency (Bono East Region)
Winner: Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah (NPP)
Votes: 46,663
Runner-up: Christopher Baasongti Beyere (NDC) with 43,429 votes
Margin: 3,234 votes
2. Okaikwei Central Constituency (Greater Accra Region)
Winner: Mr. Patrick Yaw Boamah (NPP)
Votes: 21,099
Runner-up: Abdulai Abu Baba Abubakar Sadiq (NDC) with 19,368 votes
Margin: 1,731 votes
3. Ahafo Ano South West Constituency (Ashanti Region)
Winner: Elvis Osei Dapaah (NPP)
Votes: 16,058
Runner-up: Abubakar Sadiq (NDC) with 15,372 votes
Margin: 686 votes
4. Ahafo Ano North Constituency (Ashanti Region)
Winner: Nana Agyemang Prempeh (NPP)
Votes: 20,353
Runner-up: Kwasi Adusei (NDC) with 20,232 votes
Margin: 121 votes
5. Tema Central Constituency (Greater Accra Region)
Winner: Mr. Charles Forson (NPP)
Votes: 18,870
Runner-up: Ebi Bright (NDC) with 18,815 votes
Margin: 55 votes
6. Nsawam-Adoagyiri Constituency (Eastern Region)
Winner: Mr. Frank Annoh-Dompreh (NPP)
Votes: 29,640
Runner-up: Fummey Philibert (NDC) with 29,433 votes
Margin: 207 votes
7. Obuasi East Constituency (Ashanti Region)
Winner: Mr. Patrick Boakye-Yiadom (NPP)
Votes: 18,558
Runner-up: Samuel Aboagye (NDC) with 18,539 votes
