PV Dadson Jantuah has disclosed on Abusua FM in Kumasi that he had won a lottery using the late John Kumah’s telephone number.

Despite hitting the jackpot, Dadson who happens to be a leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), expressed his shock at Kumah’s death and shared that he decided to use his number to play the lottery on the day of his death.

Interestingly, two of the numbers mentioned turned out to be winners, suggesting that John Kumah may still be looking out for Jantuah even in the afterlife.

John Kumah decided to go without informing me. However, even after his death, my brother is making provisions for my life. I won the lottery with his contact. I almost hit all the three numbers but even two was okay for me,” he said on Abusua FM.

PV Jantuah says his next line of action is to seek John Kumah’s mortuary number so he can win big with it.

“My next line of action is to go and look for his mortuary number too. John Kumah has a good soul, and even in his death, he is thinking about his brother, his enemies have been put to shame” he said jokingly.

John Kumah, the Deputy Finance Minister and Member of Parliament for Ejisu in the Ashanti Region died after a short illness on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

He had been present in Parliament earlier this week and was scheduled to contribute to the Budget debate on Thursday and Friday. However, he had visited his constituency, Ejisu, in the Ashanti Region, to celebrate the Independence anniversary.

Unfortunately, his health worsened during this time. An ambulance was called to transport him to Accra, but his condition became critical during the journey.

As a result, the ambulance diverted to the Suhum Government Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Thursday, March 7, 2024. His body has been taken to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
