National Cathedral Construction Will Continue Despite Rejection Of GHS80M Additional Budget – Joyce Aryee

Construction of the National Cathedral of Ghana will proceed, notwithstanding Parliament’s rejection of the GH80 million additional budget allocated to the project.

That’s according to Rev. Dr. Joyce Aryee, a member of the Board of Trustees for the project.

She argued that the loss of the GH$80 million financial allocation would not have a significant impact on the Cathedral’s construction since it represented only a portion of the seed money the government was utilizing to finance the project.

Dr. Aryee expressed her confidence that Ghanaians will contribute to the project’s continuation in a JoyNews interview.
