Nacee confidently informed Joy Prime that he is poised to clinch the Artiste of the Year award at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
He mentioned that tough competition is expected from King Promise and Stonebwoy, but he is determined to secure the victory through unwavering ‘faith.’ Additionally, he revealed that he had received a prophecy foretelling his win and visualized himself being interviewed by the BBC post-award.
Nacee expressed his belief that if he emerges victorious, his name will be prominently featured in both local and international media headlines, especially since many doubt his chances against the formidable contenders, Stonebwoy and King Promise.
“In fact, the Ghana Music Awards will have more reach or exposure if I win Artiste of the Year because it’s normal if any of my contenders win, and it’s not news. Nacee winning Artiste of the Year is where the news is.”
“I’ve said that if I win Artiste of the Year, the BBC will interview me, and I’ll mention Charterhouse,” he said.
Nacee is competing against King Promise, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, and Black Sherif for the prestigious Artiste of the Year award. Black Sherif, last year’s winner, faces tough competition this year from King Promise and Stonebwoy who are currently leading the race.
Meanwhile, this year’s event is scheduled to take place on June 1 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
