Nacee has reacted to the various direct and indirect criticisms from his industry colleague Brother Sammy.
During an interview with Andy Dosty earlier today, the Aseda hitmaker was questioned about the ongoing issue between him and Bro Sammy, which has escalated into a full-blown feud.
Nacee mentioned that he would address the conflict initiated by Brother Sammy at the appropriate time, expressing his difficulty in aligning with his colleague’s actions.
He described Brother Sammy as a noisy empty barrel, drawing a comparison between him and a madman. Nacee stated that engaging in a response or confrontation with Brother Sammy over the unwarranted attacks would only result in both of them being labelled as madmen.
Furthermore, Nacee reacted to Brother Sammy’s statement implying that he would never win an award unless Nacee passed away.
He deemed this comment unfortunate and warned Brother Sammy that such remarks could potentially lead to legal consequences, as they could be interpreted as threats.
Brother Sammy was in the news not too long ago when he opened up about his ongoing feud with Nacee, he will no longer be considered for a nomination in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
He stated that Nacee’s position as a board member of the Awards scheme would inevitably impact his chances of receiving a nomination or emerging as a winner.
“I know I will never win an accolade at the Ghana Music Awards unless Nacee dies. I am saying this because he is on the board; if your song is not affiliated with him, you will never get a nomination.
I don’t have a problem with him but it’s the truth. He is my son when it comes to music,” Brother Sammy stated.
Nacee and Brother Sammy have conflicted since the latter participated in the Aseda challenge. Nacee initiated a social media challenge for his hit song Aseda, which was a major success in 2023. However, tensions escalated when Nacee decided not to promote Brother Sammy’s version on his social media platform.
Hence Brother Sammy openly criticized his senior colleague, accusing him of being a jealous individual who does not support the progress of fellow artists.
Brother Sammy’s argument stemmed from an incident where Nacee allegedly blocked him and displayed bitterness after Brother Sammy outshone him on the song.
