Naana Brown has labelled explosive allegations against veteran actor Agya Koo, claiming he sabotaged her career in Kumawood after she rejected his romantic advances.
During an emotional interview, Brown detailed the ordeal that she said derailed her dreams of becoming a successful actress in Ghana’s thriving local film industry.
“We were on the same set, and he started making moves on me,” Brown recounted. “He wanted to have his way with me, but I wasn’t comfortable with it.

“When I said no, he got upset and warned me, saying, ‘If you don’t agree to this, I’ll make your life miserable.’ At the time, I didn’t think he meant it, but he wasn’t joking.”
Naana Brown claimed that after refusing Agya Koo’s advances, she was promptly removed from the movie they were working on together.
“I was shocked when I was told I wouldn’t be part of the project anymore. It felt unfair and humiliating,” she said.
The alleged fallout didn’t stop there. According to Brown, Agya Koo used his influence in Kumawood to blacklist her from other productions.
“He went to other directors and told them not to cast me. I would get calls for auditions or roles, and then suddenly, I’d hear nothing. He destroyed my chances of building a career in acting,” she said.
