Renowned Kumawood actor Clement Bonney, famously known as Mr. Beautiful, has unleashed a scathing attack on his colleague Agya Koo, accusing him of spreading falsehoods about President-elect John Dramani Mahama during the 2024 election campaign.
In a heated interview on Radio XYZ, Mr. Beautiful didn’t mince words as he expressed his disdain for Agya Koo’s alleged betrayal and ingratitude.

“I will never meet Agya Koo or greet him, let alone shake his hand,” Mr. Beautiful fumed. “I will not do that foolish thing because he lied about John Mahama.
He said the high cost of duty was due to Mahama selling Tema Harbor. A villager like you, how could you say such a thing about President Mahama?”
The accusations against Agya Koo, who has been an outspoken supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stem from claims he made during the campaign period, alleging that Mahama’s administration sold the Tema Harbor, which purportedly led to a hike in import duties.
For Mr. Beautiful, these statements were not only false but also a direct attempt to undermine the former president’s reputation during a critical election.
The Kumawood star’s anger is compounded by his belief that Agya Koo’s actions are rooted in hypocrisy. According to Mr. Beautiful, Mahama had supported Agya Koo in the past, offering financial help and even providing plane tickets.

“He is one of the most ungrateful people I’ve ever encountered. Mahama was giving him money and buying him plane tickets, but after aligning with the NPP, he wanted to discredit the man,” Mr. Beautiful lamented.
For Mr. Beautiful, the fallout has gone beyond professional disagreements, turning personal. “I’ll come after you; you’re now my enemy,” he declared, emphasizing his intention to confront Agya Koo over what he sees as a betrayal of trust and a deliberate smear campaign.
