Stonebwoy has shared in a new interview that his 5th Dimension album has reached an international standard.
The award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artist expressed his lack of surprise at the recognition the album received at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), including the prestigious Artiste of the Year award.
During the interview with Amansan Krakye, Stonebwoy mentioned that he had high expectations for the album due to the significant resources and expertise invested in its production.
In the interview, he disclosed “Yes of course I had huge expectations when I was releasing the 5D album because myself and my team knew we were doing something extraordinary for Ghana and the globe.

“Because the work we are into is now done globally so I wasn’t so surprised that my 5th Dimension has become successful since what we did wasn’t garbage.
“It’s a proper thing that we came out with so it’s necessary and deserves the kind of attention and acceptance we’ve gotten all over the world,” he added
“So I’m not that surprised by the achievements my album has been able to make but it rather motivates me that I’ll continue pushing so we move forward because progress is a must”.
During the same interview, Stonebwoy expressed his satisfaction at being reinstated into the TGMAs and emphasized his commitment to supporting the event as a patriotic Ghanaian who values progress.
Conversely, he also stated that individuals who do not endorse this commendable initiative spearheaded by Theresa Ayaode of Charterhouse are essentially showing disdain towards Ghana.
“You are very right if I don’t feel happy, motivated, concerned and involved in the Telecel Ghana Music Awards then it means I’m not a Ghanaian or I don’t want its progress.
“I look at the whole Ghana that we too this is our own thing so Ghana Music Awards is what belongs to us unless you are not a Ghanaian or you hate the country,” he opined.
