Hollywood heavyweights Mark Wahlberg and Halle Berry are set to join forces in the upcoming thriller ‘Union’, promising audiences a powerful on-screen duo in what’s being billed as an intense, high-stakes adventure.
‘Union’, directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Sarah Chen, tells the story of two unlikely allies forced to work together to uncover a far-reaching conspiracy that threatens national security. Wahlberg plays Mike McKenna, a disgraced former CIA operative, while Berry takes on the role of Roxanne Hall, a brilliant but unorthodox FBI profiler.
The film’s plot is being kept tightly under wraps, but industry insiders suggest it will blend elements of political intrigue, action, and psychological thriller. Producer Tom Harris describes ‘Union’ as “a pulse-pounding journey that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats from start to finish.”
This marks the first time Wahlberg and Berry have shared the screen, creating buzz among movie fans eager to see how their dynamic plays out. Both actors are known for their versatility and commitment to physically demanding roles, hinting at potentially intense action sequences.
Supporting cast members include Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and veteran character actor J.K. Simmons, adding further depth to an already impressive ensemble.
The film is coming to Netflix on August 16. Watch the trailer below:
