Conservative stalwart, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, attempted to energize her fans for the new GOP House majority on Monday. She tweeted a video of her confidently walking around the hallways of Congress listening to Dr. Dre’s song ‘Still D.R.E.’

However, Dre filed a copyright claim and the video was removed.

“It’s time to begin … and they can’t stop what’s coming,” wrote the Georgia Republican, who played a crucial role in Rep. Kevin McCarthy winning the speaker’s gavel early Saturday after 15 rounds of voting.

Dr. Dre was displeased.

He told TMZ that he doesn’t license his music to politicians, “especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one.”

By Monday afternoon, Greene’s tweet bore the dreaded notice from Twitter. The notice read; “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”

Not to be outdone, Greene posted a statement she sent to TMZ with the tagline  “The next episode ..”

The lawmaker claimed she had been locked out of her account for posting ‘Still D.R.E.’ without Dre’s permission. She explained why she played the video with music, but no lyrics.

“While I appreciate the creative chord progression,” Greene told the outlet, addressing the rapper, “I would never play your words of violence against women and police officers, and your glorification of the thug life and drugs.”

Greene’s two-minute video opens with an image of the US Capitol, then switches to a sign outside her office proclaiming “There are two genders: Male & Female ‘Trust the Science!’” before she walks out of her office door.

At that point, the music kicks in.
