Ghanaian reggae musician and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta, has commended former President John Dramani Mahama for taking bold steps to reduce government expenditure.
Speaking on his Urban Blend show on 3FM, the outspoken host praised Mahama’s directive that all government officials, including ministers, must fly economy class instead of first or business class.

He believes this policy will help Ghana save significant amounts of money.
“President Mahama is doing unprecedented things in this country. I am very impressed with what this gentleman is doing so far.
He has stopped all his ministers from flying first and business class. Everybody will fly economy, which would save the nation a lot of money,” Blakk Rasta stated.
His comments have reignited the conversation about government spending and financial discipline, with many agreeing that such measures if sustained, could redirect funds into critical sectors like healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
