Mahama Announces Second Batch of Ministerial Nominees

President John Dramani Mahama has submitted the second batch of ministerial nominees to Parliament through the Speaker.

The nominees, a mix of experienced politicians and public servants, have been chosen to serve as Regional and Sector Ministers.

Regional Ministers

The following individuals have been nominated to oversee regional development:

  1. Wilbert Petty Brentum – Western North
  2. Edumaah Ekow Panyin Okyere – Central
  3. Joseph Nelson – Western

Sector Ministers

For various ministries, President Mahama has nominated the following individuals:

  5. Emelia Arthur (MP) – Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture

  7. Haruna Iddrisu (MP) – Ministry of Education
  8. Ahmed Ibrahim (MP) – Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs
  9. Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare (MP) – Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry
