Media personality and marriage counsellor, Maame Yeboah Asiedu has revealed the role God played in her life as far as her divorce is concerned.
She expressed that despite her strong beliefs against divorce, God had different plans for her which led to her unexpected divorce.
In a video shared on Marigyata’s Instagram page, she revealed that she never imagined herself going through a divorce as a counsellor, but she trusts that God knows what is best for her.
“If I thought that I would ever be divorced, then I would be lying to you because anyone who knows me is aware that I am very much against divorce, and it is not in my plans.
“But, as the saying goes, the thoughts of man are many, but the will of God is what will be established. We can always plan and plot, but the word and will of God are what will be established.
“I never thought I would be divorced, but I was divorced,” Maame Yeboah explained.
In an earlier interview, Maame Yeboah revealed that the decision to divorce her previous husband after almost 20 years of marriage stemmed from the man’s action to annul the marriage in court, which she did not agree with.
