Lupita Nyong’o and her boyfriend Selema Masekelago make their romance public in a video posted on their respective Instagram pages just about the same time, on 23rd December.

Selema Masekela is an American television host, sports commentator, actor and singer. As a Haitian and South African descent, he covered the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa for ESPN as a Haitian-South African journalist.
While working as a correspondent, Masekela was featured, with his father, Hugh, in a series of videos on ESPN. The series, called “Umlando – Through my Father’s Eyes”, aired in 10 parts during ESPN’s coverage of the FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
Lupita has kept her personal life quiet since becoming famous. K’naan, the Somali-Canadian poet and musician who sung “Waving Flag,” was her only known link.
