Lilwin’s strong bond with rapper Guru was further solidified when he teamed up with him for a door-to-door campaign in preparation for the UG SRC elections.
Guru, known in real life as Maradona Yeboah Adjei, is vying for the position of president of the Student Representative Council at the University of Ghana.
His campaign efforts have been focused on showcasing his vision and plans for the university, to gain students’ support in representing their interests to the academic board.
A video circulating on social media captured Guru and Lilwin engaging with students in their hostels, going from room to room to share their message.
Guru officially shared posts on his social media platforms welcoming returning students to school as an SRC Presidential Candidate hopeful earlier this May.
“Dear Legonites, I’m thrilled to have you back in school. Let’s kick off this semester with positivity and enthusiasm! MARADONA YEBOAH ADJEI (GURU -NKZ) UGSRC PRESIDENT HOPEFUL’24. #Building the SRC with Everyone for everyone #Let’s all get involved,” he captioned the post.
This comes weeks after Guru made known his intentions to contest in the University of Ghana’s Student Representative Council elections.
