Lil Baby has been arrested in Las Vegas for allegedly possessing an unpermitted illegal weapon.
As reported by TMZ, the arrest took place after authorities discovered him carrying a concealed firearm without the necessary permit, which is categorized as a felony.
He was subsequently transported to the Clark County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $5,000 bail.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have yet to release additional information regarding the incident.
Representatives from Lil Baby’s legal team, including attorneys Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, have asserted that he possesses a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit.
They are actively looking into the details surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas. This incident marks another legal challenge for Lil Baby.
In 2019, he was apprehended in Atlanta for failing to signal, evading law enforcement, and reckless driving. Additionally, in 2021, he encountered legal troubles in Paris, France, when he was found with marijuana in a vehicle.
“To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit,” they told TMZ. “On his behalf, we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”
