MC Portfolio has opened up about an awkward encounter involving Shatta Wale’s team that sheds light on the tensions often lurking behind the scenes in showbiz.

Speaking on Hitz FM on December 5, 2024, the vibrant media personality recounted how he was asked to leave the premises of Angel FM before Shatta Wale would agree to an interview.

“You see, when Shatta Wale came to Angel FM before we went to Fakye Showbiz, his road manager approached everyone and said I should leave.

Otherwise, Shatta Wale would not grant the interview,” he shared, his tone calm but reflective of the weight of the experience.

MC Portfolio explained that he was on air during a scheduled appearance when the demand was made. The tension in the studio was palpable, but Sammy Flex, the seasoned broadcaster and host of the show, stepped in to address the situation.

“Sammy Flex came to me and told me, in a very polite manner, that I should leave the premises for Shatta’s sake. He promised that at the right time, I could come back in. Out of respect for Sammy Flex, I obliged,” MC Portfolio revealed.

Despite the awkwardness of the moment, MC Portfolio’s professionalism shone through. He patiently waited, not out of frustration but because he had a segment to deliver.

“I had to come back because I had a segment on the show. That was the reason why I waited,” he clarified, making it clear that his decision to step aside was a calculated one, not born of resentment.
