Lady Gaga has finally addressed a now-deleted Facebook group established by some of her former classmates at New York University, titled “Stefani Germanotta, you will never be famous.”
Screenshots of this group, which references Gaga by her birth name, have circulated widely among fans for several years.

Gaga publicly acknowledged the group’s existence by commenting on a TikTok video discussing it.
The original post contrasted a screenshot of the 12-member Facebook group with a list of the artist’s numerous achievements, including an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, 13 Grammy Awards, 10 Billboard Music Awards, and 18 MTV Music Video Awards, as reported by variety.com.

“Some individuals I attended college with created this long ago. This is why you can’t give up when people doubt you or put you down — gotta keep going,” wrote Gaga.
Gaga studied at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University before launching her debut studio album, “The Fame.”
She left NYU in 2005 to perform in various clubs across New York, during which she crafted her unique stage persona.
Fans praised the singer’s reaction and her rise to success in the comment section of the TikTok video.
“Success is the best revenge,” one person wrote.
“She’s not just famous, she’s THE FAME,” another user added.
