Lady Gaga has officially announced her highly anticipated seventh studio album, titled “Mayhem,“ set to be released on March 7, 2025. The announcement comes after a series of teasers, including a website countdown and billboards across the country.

The 14-track album will mark Gaga’s return to her pop roots, featuring previously released singles “Disease” and “Die with a Smile,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars. Gaga described the album as a journey of facing her fears and embracing a fresh, fearless artistic perspective.

According to Variety, the album was executive produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky and Andrew Watt. Producers on the album include Gaga, Andrew Watt, Cirkut and Gesaffelstein.

The album’s third single and music video will be released this Sunday, Feb. 2, during the 2025 Grammy Awards.

The 15th track is an extra bonus song on some physical releases of the album.
In a statement, Gaga said, “The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved. It’s like reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”
“Mayhem” is expected to be a genre-bending project, incorporating elements from Gaga’s expansive musical library.
